Unforgettable photos and snapshots from a not-so-happy globe!
A must see!
Then click on the 'Must see' category on the upper right hand side of the web page... Then click on 'The Holocaust and Mass Murders in World History ' and read it... sounds chillingly familiar to the Palestinian plight, does it not?
Read the last paragraph... "At the end of the war, between 50,000 and 100,000 Jewish survivors were living in three zones of occupation: American, British and Soviet. Within a year, that figure grew to about 200,000. The American zone of occupation contained more than 90 percent of the Jewish displaced persons (DPs). The Jewish DPs would not and could not return to their homes, which brought back such horrible memories and still held the threat of danger from anti-Semitic neighbors. Thus, they languished in DP camps until emigration could be arranged to Palestine, and later Israel, the United States, South America and other countries. The last DP camp closed in 1957 (David S. Wyman, "The United States," in David S. Wyman, ed., The World Reacts to the Holocaust, Baltimore, MD: Johns Hopkins University Press, 1996, pp. 70710). "
Preposterous!!
This is all that they have to say about the Sabra and Shatila Massacre, or the Palestinian suffering??"Time: September, 1982 Place: Beirut, Lebanon Death Toll: ~2,000 The Sabra and Shatila massacre (or Sabra and Chatila massacre) was carried out in September 1982 by Lebanese Maronite Christian militias in then-Israeli-occupied Beirut, Lebanon. The camps were externally surrounded by Israeli soldiers throughout the incident, and the militias had been sent in by Israel. However, Israel's culpability in the incident is hotly disputed, and Israel has denied direct responsibility, while finding certain Israelis, among them Ariel Sharon, indirectly personally responsible."
Not enough!!! Not even close.
